OPPORTUNISTIC ALLIANCE BETWEEN IDEOLOGICALLY DIFFERENT AAP AND CONG: SEHRAWAT

All political parties have intensified their electioneering following announcement of Lok Sabha poll schedule by election commission on March 16. The candidates declared by various political parties have also begun their campaigning in their respective constituencies. So is the case with Kamaljeet Sehrawat, who is BJP candidate from West Delhi seat. The greenhorn, Kamaljeet Sehrawat started her campaign earlier this week amid chanting of slogans ‘Apki baar 400 paar’ and ‘Fir ek baar Modi sarkar’. She seemed fully confident of her victory with a huge margin during her interaction with The Sunday Guardian.

Q: You are contesting Lok Sabha election for the first time. How are you preparing for it?

A: I admit that I am contesting Lok Sabha election for the first time, but I am not new to politics. I have a lot of experience in organisational skills, as I worked as a secretary three times and was a councillor from 2017 to 2022. So I have a lot of experience working in the field as well. I also remained mayor also and my tenure as mayor was for two years. So I have understood a lot during my work. So, politics is not a new field for me.

Q: How do you see AAP-Congress alliance in Delhi?
