While dressing up for work, a social occasion, or a day of running errands, you cannot deny the charm of Indo-western clothing.

Homegrown indie brand trueBrowns makes urban ethnic wear for different occasions

A homegrown fashion label that checks all these boxes is trueBrowns.

This urban ethnic lifestyle brand, founded by Udita Bansal, offers versatile clothing that is inclusive and can be worn by people of all shapes and sizes. Its designs are rooted in Indian craftsmanship and the use of Indian textiles.

Bansal shares, "trueBrowns celebrates the contrast of classic elegance and contemporary styling by creating ensembles that reflect a unique combination of tradition, style, vibrant energy, and grace. With a simple and minimal design language, the modern silhouettes are size-inclusive and flatter Indian body types. Each product transcends seasons with timeless elegance and is consciously crafted in India with a strong vendor network across the country."

The brand's latest Spring-Summer collection, titled Qala, is designed for the versatile woman who wears her Indian identity on her sleeve even at the workplace. Bansal explains, "Workspaces today are no longer confined to traditional offices. They have transformed into dynamic environments which include creative studios, bustling workshops, and inspiring retreats. Recognizing this shift, trueBrowns presents its new collection, Qala, which is a refined and elevated take on contemporary dressing, designed for individuals who turn their passion into purpose."

The new collection is made with 100 percent pure cotton and breathable fabrics that are super comfortable to wear in all climatic conditions. They are made with low-wrinkle fabrics and in flowy silhouettes to allow ease of movement. Hence, they are comfortable to wear during travel or through long work hours. Elements like collars, front-open styles, and functional pockets further enhance the versatility of these outfits. The signature motifs and prints, which have been designed in-house, add another dimension to appeal to the fashion-conscious crowd.
