|February 23, 2025
Days after taking the oath of office, the newly established BJP-led Delhi government swiftly moved into action, beginning the implementation of the promises made during its election campaign.
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, accompanied by senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament Kamaljeet Sehrawat, visited Rao Tula Ram Memorial Hospital in the national capital.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the hospital's condition and available facilities. Speaking to the media during his visit, Singh stated, "We are working based on the trust that the people of Delhi have placed in our party. Whatever facilities are lacking here, we will ensure they are provided. We have come here to take necessary actions for the welfare of the common people."
He further emphasised, "We implemented the 'Ayushman Bharat Yojana' in our very first cabinet meeting, and we are committed to taking all necessary steps to enhance the health infrastructure under the BJP government."
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Public Works Department (PWD) Minister of Delhi, Parvesh Verma, conducted an inspection of ongoing department projects at Bhairon Marg up to Sarai Kale Khan, Ring Road, in the national capital. During his inspection, he engaged with various constituents and officials to address grievances and explore possible solutions. While assessing the progress of a 4-km-long stretch of road under repair, Verma inquired about the strategies being employed to manage traffic congestion during road closures. An official informed him that the work is carried out lane by lane, primarily at night, to minimise disruptions.
