These cover the area of refuelling, boat charters, commercial contracts in commodities shipping and offshore oil and gas matters.
Before her appointment in 2022, Ms Yeoh spent 16 years in the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, where she was senior director of strategy and policy. She wants to develop Singapore into a centre for international maritime arbitration. In 2024, Singapore's port handled 41.12 million shipping containers – an all-time high.
"My taste in books is an eclectic mix of genres. I am currently reading a few books – Agatha Christie's Five Little Pigs, Oliver Sacks' Seeing Voices, Chris van Tulleken's Ultra-Processed People, and Mission Maritime, the latest book in the award-winning Secrets Of Singapore series.
