PM Wong: S'pore welcomes Gaza ceasefire deal, hopes it will be fully implemented

The announcement of the ceasefire and hostage return agreement between Hamas and Israel is welcomed by Singapore, with the hope that it would be carried out fully, said Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

"While this is just the first phase, we hope the agreement will be fully implemented, to ensure the permanent cessation of hostilities, and the release of all hostages," PM Wong said in a Jan 17 Facebook post.
