ITE adding 7 new three-year Higher Nitec courses in 2026

More students will be able to pursue three-year Higher Nitec courses at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), with the addition of seven such programmes in 2026.
This will bring the total number of three-year Higher Nitec courses to 49.
In a statement on Dec 18, the institute said this move marks the full transition of ITE’s Nitec courses to the three-year Higher Nitec curricular structure.
The three-year structure, progressively implemented since 2022, shortens students’ route to advanced certification from four years to three, ITE said.
