Injuries holding United back again, says ten Hag

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will have captain Bruno Fernandes and, hopefully, Jonny Evans back for their English Premier League clash at West Ham United on Oct 27, but he expressed frustration that injuries are plaguing the team for a second consecutive season.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will have captain Bruno Fernandes and, hopefully, Jonny Evans back for their English Premier League clash at West Ham United on Oct 27, but he expressed frustration that injuries are plaguing the team for a second consecutive season.
The Red Devils have only 11 points after eight matches, but are hoping to build some momentum on the back of last weekend's 2-1 win over Brentford. West Ham, meanwhile, have eight points.
Both Fernandes and Evans missed the midweek 1-1 Europa League clash against Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce, with the United captain serving a one-match ban for the red card he was shown against Porto, and Evans ruled out after picking up a knock in the Brentford game.
