Australian will seek to become the second golfer to retain HSBC Women's World C'ship
A triumphant outing at the HSBC Women's World Championship in March teed off a stellar 2024 for Hannah Green and the Australian will be hoping to replicate her success as organisers confirmed on Dec 10 that she will be returning for the 2025 edition.
After her victory at Sentosa Golf Club's Tanjong Course, the 27-year-old won two other titles this season.
The first was at April's LA Championship in Los Angeles before she claimed the BMW Ladies Championship title in South Korea six months later.
She also recorded another three top-10 finishes.
Starting the year as world No. 28, Green's form in 2024 saw her rise to a career-high fifth in the world rankings in October.
On coming back to Singapore for the Feb 27-March 2 tournament, the world No. 6 said: "I'm really excited to return to the HSBC Women's World Championship next year and defend my title.
"Winning at Sentosa was incredible, especially with that thrilling finish and unforgettable putt."
