Firm director named vice-chairman of PAP's Bedok Reservoir-Punggol branch

Dr Adrian Ang, a director at facility and environmental management company Chye Thiam Maintenance, has been appointed vice-chairman of the governing People's Action Party's Bedok Reservoir-Punggol branch.
Mr Victor Lye, who chairs the branch and has been contesting Aljunied GRC since 2015, mentioned this in a Facebook post on Jan 24.
The Bedok Reservoir-Punggol division is in Aljunied GRC, which is held by the Workers' Party (WP).
Mr Lye and Dr Ang gave out oranges and goodies on Jan 24 to staff at PCF Sparkletots pre-schools in the division for the upcoming Chinese New Year.
The Straits Times has asked Dr Ang, 41, for comment on his new appointment.
Based on his Facebook posts, Dr Ang has been meeting Bedok Reservoir-Punggol residents in "regular coffee-shop sessions".
