Oct 3 South Africa (Fairview/Greyville) form analysis

RACE 1(1,200M)

(9) TIMELINE may not have liked the heavy track in his recent starts. He has changed trainers since then and could improve on local debut.

(2) AMERICAN MATADOR is consistent and deserves a success. Question is if it will be this race.

(i) KHICHDI struggled on the Polytrack on local debut and is sure to do better this time.

(6) MAGNUS THE GOOD lacked a strong finish on local debut but does have claims in this lineup.

RACE 2 (2,000M)

(4) KING OF VICTORY did not appear to like the soft track last time out at Greyville. He was not beaten far in his previous two starts and could be better than these rivals.

(5) CELTIQUE seems best on the grass and can contest the finish yet again.

(i) OUTBACK EXPRESS is consistent and must be included in calculations if his recent runs are anything to go by.

(6) WELSH STARLET is battling to win a race but can figure over this course and distance.

RACE 3 (1,600M)

(4) ACTION AMERICA has improved of late and should make a bold bid at beating these rivals.

(2) BOMBER BAY is consistent but does battle to finish off his race.

(5) CASINO KING is a lot better than what he showed last time and can be a threat.

(6) BUGLE has improved of late and can contest the finish.

RACE 4 (1,600M)

(3) GREEN MANDARIN has been trying his luck in better races than this recently and could be ready to strike.

(7) ROCK OF FUTURA has scope for further improvement and would not be a surprise winner.

(6) SUN SPECTACULAR is not reliable but is also not out of it.

(i) LAGUNA VERDE has only been modest at this centre but is capable of an upset on best form.

RACE 5 (1,400M)

(5) CHEEKY LADDIE is not reliable but he can win from start to finish in a race of this nature.

(2) KING’S RANSOM is course and distance suited and should fight out the finish yet again.
