His race rivals Man Of Action and Rocket Boy also look sharp on the training track
While the races on March 30 are moving away from the riverside in Selangor to the Ipoh racecourse in Perak, racegoers will still be in for some good action – especially in the main race of the day.
It is the Enrich Stakes A event over the 1,200m and it will bring together some of the highest-rated gallopers in Malaysia.
Among the 10 runners entered for the race is Chinese Tea, who carries a rating of 90 points. Vincent’s Star, a four-time winner and 80-point rater, and Major King, who is rated at 79, will also be in the fight.
That is a "high-class race" and all eyes could be on the top three rated runners, but something else is shaping up to be even more intriguing in the highlight race in Ipoh.
It is a "private battle" between Man Of Action, Brandenburg and Rocket Boy, and their three Ipoh-based trainers – Kevin Coetzee, Stephen Cook and former jockey-turned-trainer, Ismadi Ismail.
Interestingly, all three gallopers won at their last starts.
Man Of Action claimed top honours in a Class 4A race (1,200m) on Feb 22. Brandenburg is on the quick back-up after winning in a similar sort of race on March 15, while Rocket Boy also made it one from one in an Enrich Stakes A sprint over the 1,200m on debut on Feb 22.
