Part of the performance The Sea And The Neighbourhood that opens Sifa 2025, Pact Of Water is a fresh way to let people from all walks of life enjoy ballet
DANCE PACT OF WATER Singapore Ballet Bedok Town Square May 16 A throng of people, packed shoulder to shoulder, encases Bedok Town Square to watch the harsh beauty and athletic fluidity of Pact Of Water. Choreographed by Singaporean Christina Chan and danced by Singapore Ballet, it is part of the multidisciplinary performance The Sea And The Neighbourhood that is the opening of Singapore International Festival of Arts (Sifa) 2025.
It is a chance for the audience from young children and seniors in wheelchairs to people from the neighbourhood and those who travelled here for the performance - to view the ballet dancers from a proximity that traditional stages would never afford.
