Ant-Man star says she has brain damage

In a video uploaded to Instagram on Jan 2, the 46-year-old said: “It’s late on Jan 1. The first day of 2026. And I’m entering this new year, the Year of the Horse, with some bad news about my concussion.”

The actress, who played superhero scientist Hope van Dyne/ Wasp in the Ant-Man superhero film trilogy (2015 to 2023) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), said she received results from her brain scans and “almost every area in my brain is functioning at a decreased capacity”.

“So, I do have brain damage from the TBI (traumatic brain injury), and possibly other factors going on,” she added.
