Triple induction boost for Navy's firepower

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation three new powerful frontline naval combatants - guided missile destroyer INS Surat, stealth frigate INS Nilgiri and the Scorpene submarine INS Vaghsheer, at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai, Maharashtra on Wednesday.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mr Modi said India is emerging as a major maritime power in the world and the expanding ship-building industry will help the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
