Party's MPs, MLAs plan to present their case for going with the govt in power at a meeting next week
Ps and MLAs of the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) are inclined to merge their party with the Ajit Pawar-led NCP but Jitendra Awhad, Rohit Patil, and Uttam Jankar opposed the proposal, sources said in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The MPs and MLAs of the party plan to present their case in favour of going with the government in power and merge their party with the Ajit Pawar-led NCP at a meeting likely to be held by the Sharad Pawar's party on 8 January and 9, 2025 to decide the next course. However, everything will depend on what position NCP founder Sharad Pawar and his daughter NCP (SP) Working President Supriya Sule take on the proposal, sources said.
