No discrimination in education to children: SC seeks details of Rohingya refugees for extending school, hospital facilities

Stating that there could be no discrimination in the imparting of education, the Supreme Court on Wednesday sought details of Rohingya refugees - their present residence, proof of residence, ownership of the residence and their registration number - on a plea for extending education and medical facilities to them.

Seeking details about the Rohingya refugees' residence with proof, Justice Surya Kant heading a bench also comprising Justice Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh said: "In terms of education there will be no discrimination. We need to know how they are living, where they are living, in whose house they are living and what is the house number.
