First HMPV case detected in UP

China's virus HMPV has reached Uttar Pradesh, as after testing a woman from the city, a private lab has declared her HMPV positive.
The woman was admitted to a private hospital from there she was shifted to a government Hospital at 11 pm last night. In the investigation of private lab, the reports have been found positive. The sample has been sent to KGMU for further investigation. Sources said here on Thursday that the woman has been kept in isolation in ward number 11 of the hospital. The 60-year-old woman is a resident of Cantt area of Lucknow.
