Amit Shah hails Modi govt for defeating terror, ensuring prosperity and security

Union Home and Cooperatives Minister Amit Shah has targeted the previous Congress regimes for "ineffective rule" and hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for defeating the perpetrators of terrorism and transformed India into a "prosperous, secured and developed nation".
Addressing a well-attended public meeting after inaugurating "Cooperatives Mahotsav, Rozgar Mela and related programmes at Dadiya village on the outskirts of the Pink City here Thursday, the Home Minister belittled the Congress-led previous regimes at the Centre for handling terrorism.
Shah said: "Under the Congress (previous rule) the country was facing terrorists strikes every day. This has now been changed. Under Modiji regime terrorists had first made a strike at Uri, Modiji ordered surgical strikes to demolish their hideouts across the border.
