The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh has strongly refuted arecentnews article related tothe November 2024 Assembly bye-elections in the Kundarki Assembly segment of Moradabad, calling it "factually incorrect" and "statistically misleading
Taking to the social media platform X on Sunday, the CEO issueda detailed, point-by-point rebuttal, citing official data to highlight discrepancies in the article’s analysis. The CEO noted that the article, which attempts todrawacorrelation between voter turnout in the November 2024 bye-elections andthe BJP’s booth-wise vote share from the April 2024 Lok Sabha elections, is fundamentally flawed.
