Marriage means choosing to love someone every day. It is rarely the union of two souls but the coalescing of their dreams, time, and existence. Such is the story of Banhi Mitra and Kaushik Mitra, which serves as a magnificent example of how marriages can also be beautiful. They tied the knot in 1998. The couple were childhood friends and lived in the same neighbourhood. From clandestine meetings to finally marrying each other, their journey is a tale of passion and love for each other in its purest form. Banhi and Kaushik's tale began in the narrow lanes of their old neighbourhood, where they used to take science classes together. They went to the same school till class 10. Banhi shifted to Delhi later, and they lost contact. Banhi says, "We used to save our pocket money to send just hundreds of messages to each other every day." The couple expressed that the distance made them yearn for each other more, making them realise that one's absence is required to feel their presence more intensely. As they transitioned from childhood to adolescence, their friendship blossomed
