JU Fracas: Police Record Statements of Indranuj Roy, Prof

After a nudge from Calcutta High Court, Jadavpur police on Saturday recorded the statements of Indranuj Roy, the student injured after being hit by education minister Bratya Basu's car during a recent fracas at Jadavpur University, and also questioned three other students on the basis of the FIR lodged by the injured student.
Police also recorded the statements of three members of the West Bengal College and University Professors' Association, including Professor Om Prakas Mishra, who had been named in the FIR on charges of alleged heckling of students on the campus of Jadavpur University on 1 March.
