AIIMS heli ambulance crashes in Kedarnath, no one harmed, pilot safe

A helicopter ambulance crashed at Kedarnath Shrine area on Saturday close to the temple helipad.
The heli ambulance had gone to airlift a devotee from Kedarnath shrine to Rishikesh AIIMS.
The ill-fated helicopter ambulance belonging to AIIMS Rishikesh crashed barely 20 meters away from the Kedarnath helipad as it tried to land. Although the pilot remained unscathed, AIIMS spokesperson stated that the heli ambulance had flown to Kedarnath to pick up a seriously ill patient.
