Volvo sets out on a new journey along path of biodiversity, teams up with Nature Conservancy for mangrove restoration in Indian Sunderbans

Swedish luxury car company-Volvo Cars has set out on a new journey, this time round, along the path of biodiversity.

Indian arm of the Swedish auto major has now teamed up with The Nature Conservancy to focus on preserving biodiversity through mangrove restoration in non-protected areas of the Indian Sundarbans (another side of the Sunderbans is in Bangladesh).

This initiative is one of the two coastal health initiatives that the company unveiled recently at The Ocean Race Summit in Alicante, Spain, top company officials said. This comes at a time when the world is facing a triple planetary crisis: climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss.
