UP to host 'Skill Olympic' in Lucknow on 15-16 July to mark World Youth Skills Day 2025

On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day 2025, the Uttar Pradesh government is set to host a grand "Skill Olympic" in the state capital, Lucknow, on 15 and 16 July.
The event will be organised under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) with the aim of providing a platform for youth-led innovations, particularly those based on modern technologies like artificial intelligence.
Mission Director Pulkit Khare said here on Saturday that the event is being held under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. "Selected trainees from training centres operating in every district of the state will participate in the Olympic to showcase their projects, models, apps, or tech-based solutions. This will not only give the youth technological recognition, but also help position them as an industry-ready workforce."
