People decry low fund allocation to RGH

People here are dismayed over the meager allocation of Rs 627 crore by the government for the development of the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) at a time when other hospitals have been provided bigger amounts.
"This is nothing but gross neglect to the city and nothing else," said Arabinda Das, an activist here while regretting that Rourkela has always been treated in a step-motherly fashion.
Recently, the present BJP government allocated Rs. 5958 crores for the development of the Capital Hospital while RGH here got a very small amount, Rs. 627 crores, in comparison to what has been allotted to the former. And this has become the point of debate here.
