From a bright corporate career to become a social entrepreneur, she has traversed some distance and learnt everything the hard way. An alumnus of Kolkata's Modern High School for Girls, St. Xavier's College and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, she has made a significant impact in the senior care industry with her innovative startup, Sukoon Unlimited.

With a vision to revolutionise senior care, she has created a holistic platform that addresses the emotional, social, and physical well-being of seniors. Recently, Sukoon Unlimited raised $430,000 in a pre-seed funding round, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

Speaking to The Statesman, Kolkata-born young entrepreneur Vibha Singhal, Founder & CEO, Sukoon Unlimited, narrated her journey as a women entrepreneur, especially as a social entrepreneur, her vision for Sukoon Unlimited, the impact of loneliness on senior health and how Sukoon Unlimited addresses this issue and innovations in senior care and the future of the industry.

Q: What was the trigger behind floating "Sukoon Unlimited"?

A: Sukoon Unlimited was born from a deep realisation—aging should be about living, not just existing. Many seniors, after a lifetime of giving—raising families, building careers—find themselves feeling forgotten and isolated. Conversations with over 1,000 seniors revealed a common struggle: loneliness, lack of purpose, and emotional detachment.
