Monsoon session to spotlight UP's 2047 vision, says CM Yogi

The CM also targeted SP's Akhilesh Yadav and said that they have always been against development

As the 2025 Monsoon Session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly commences Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath outlined the government's ambitious agenda, calling it a milestone in Uttar Pradesh's journey towards a viksit state.

Speaking to journalists, he said the session—held in the third year of the Amrit Kaal—will chart a decisive course for development, with the government set to present a 25-year action plan in the Assembly.

The CM, while reacting to the announcement by SP to boycott the special 24 hours sitting on development, also targeted Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav and said that these people have always been against development.

CM said: "I welcome all the members who have come to participate in the proceedings of the House. Here, the issues related to public development, raised by public representatives, should be seen as an example in the country."
