Now this is pertinently applicable to the pursuit of vocation, career, and professional success. There is a very old saying- ‘Healthy mind in a healthy body’; so the mind is perhaps the most important radar to steer an aspirant towards the shore of success. It is equally important to understand why the mind is such a crucial player in the game of vocational competition.

Let us take a case of two students of equal merit and equal perseverance. It is noted in many such cases that the one with greater mental discipline wins the race. It is the power of determination that matters, even if someone is proficient in a given subject. In the world of competitive examinations, where selection happens through elimination, each number is decisive. A student has to focus with all mental attention, guided by confidence, driven by inspiration.
