Four including 3 juveniles held for gang rape

Basta police arrested four persons, including three juveniles, in connection with a case of alleged gang rape of a 15-year-old minor girl.

Reports said about 6 months ago the victim had gone out with her boy (adult) friend. And that time he, along with three minors, raped her in a secluded place. They had been black mailing her for quite a long time and recently they sent the video footage of the rape and sent it to her brother.

The victim's brother informed the parents who lodged an FIR with police. The cops, following investigation, registering a case of gang rape, apprehended the accused. The juveniles were produced before their appropriate court while the main accused was sent to jail following rejection of his bail petitions.

Sarita Barik, OFS-I, Asst. Commissioner of State Tax, Bhubaneswar-IV Circle, was arrested by Odisha Vigilance and forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. She was trapped accepting a bribe on Tuesday.
