Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday launched a blistering attack on the BJP, accusing it of betraying its allies after protests broke out at the residence of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief and Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, a key partner in the state government.
Yadav said the BJP has no real commitment to its allies, alleging that the party is now instigating protests against even its own partners. "Till yesterday, BJP members were running their own 'council' versus their own 'vahini'. Now, they are organizing protests at the homes of their so-called allies," he said.
