For Anugraha Bada, 35, agriculture always remained the first call and nothing could distract him from his first love, which he calls his passion.

And his passion is certainly like a beacon of light for many, especially the youths, he feels.

"For me agriculture is not a profession; this is a way of connecting directly with the almighty. I relish those moments when I am with my plants and the produce. The scene is mesmerizing when you get to see the fruit of your hard labour dancing in the field," said Bada. He has no problems selling his products in the market.

Bada, a resident of Damposh village, surrounded by hills and jungle, under Kutra Block owns four acres of land.
