CM Unveils 158 Projects Worth Rs 375 Cr for Mayurbhanj District

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched 158 projects worth over Rs 375 crore for Mayurbhanj district on Saturday and said unlike the previous BJD government which indulged in 'event management' in the garb of development for 24 years, his government has delivered on its promises within just nine months.
Addressing people at a 'Vikash pathe Mayurbhanj' in Patpur area of Udala, the CM narrated his love for Udala even before becoming an MLA.
He inaugurated 52 projects with an investment of about Rs 100 crore and laid the foundation of 106 projects with an investment of about Rs 275 crore and said these projects will usher in development in the region.
The projects included Anganwadi Centers, Watershed Improvement, Public Service Centers, Public Health Centers, Cooperative Societies etc. The CM also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a temple and a community center for the Bathudi community, especially for the preservation of tribal culture.
