Purple Group’s reports 208% profit surge and client engagement rises

PURPLE Group saw its strongest half-year performance after its financial services and online platforms generated good revenue growth, efficiencies improved, and client engagement increased.
The results for the six months to February 28 on Wednesday showed attributable profit up 204.1% to R236 million. Revenue increased by 31.4% to R672 million. Operating expenses increased 13%, well below revenue growth.
Some of their brands include EasyEquities, EasyCrypto, EasyProperties, and EasyTrade.
“We’re putting our stride. This isn’t just growth – it’s proof our platform model scales with discipline and client intimacy. While the macro environment is casting uncertainty around global trade tactics – particularly from the US – continues to influence sentiment,” CEO Charles Savage said.
Headline earnings a share increased 204.1% to 2.36 cents. Net asset value per share of 177 cents. Net asset value per share increased 9% to 45.35 cents.
