Ouaddou puts faith in Appollis as Pirates’ new era begins

ORLANDO Pirates' new head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou plans to develop Oswin Appollis into a standout player as he embarks on his coaching journey with the Buccaneers.
The 23-year-old winger made a sensational debut last Saturday, shining brightly during the team's 1-0 victory over Polokwane City in the MTN8 quarterfinals, signalling his potential to become a pivotal figure for the club this season.
Despite Appollis' exhilarating performance, which showcased his ability to influence the game, Ouaddou remains grounded in his expectations and objectives for the promising player.
"We need to discipline him," he stated firmly.
Having previously faced Appollis during his time at Marumo Gallants, Ouaddou appreciates the youngster's attributes but stresses the importance of shaping his developmental path. Now at the helm of Pirates, he aims to implement a clear tactical framework to elevate Appollis' skill set.
