MICHAEL Jackson fans have shown up in the millions online to support the late King of Pop.
Lionsgate recently released the trailer of Jackson’s biopic, Michael, and within the first 24 hours, it had shattered records, amassing over 116.2 million views worldwide.
The film stars Jackson's nephew, Jaafar Jackson, who takes on the iconic role.
The teaser showcases Jaafar performing some of Michael’s legendary dance moves, including the famous moonwalk. It also offers a sneak peek into the unforgettable Thriller music video.
“The film tells the story of Michael Jackson's life beyond the music, tracing his journey from the discovery of his extraordinary talent as the lead of the Jackson Five to the visionary artist whose creative ambition fueled a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world,’ read the synopsis.
