Dara Beth’s ‘all my ex lovers are dead’ is a raw exploration of love and life choices

WRITER and director Dara Beth sparks curiosity with her brutally hon-est reflections on love, death, and raw life choices in her one-woman show.

In a chat with Beth, they revealed that they were just writing out all stories and bad poetry and, in some way, processing the terrible dates she’s left going on.

“I was just trying to find some meaning in all the nonsense. This story has been a long time coming, written slowly over six years, piece together from scrap paper, voice memos saved on downloads and everything after that, I stacked more internal monologues than anyone single person should allow themselves to indulge in,” Beth shared.

“I had no intention of writing a play about all of my ex-lovers. I had no intention of writing anything about all my exes, full stop. And somehow, after all that, I stumbled upon this one-hour rollercoaster with numerous actresses, directors, life choices, creative and critics everyone’s perfect life I’ve ever made and called loved.”

This, it seems, becomes the perfect conduit to deliver her life story this time around.
