CMF pulls out of IDT EPWP programme

The organisation says the decision was necessary to protect its reputation amid heightened public scrutiny and what it describes as politically motivated allegations.

Founded in 2012, the CMF has built a strong track record in community upliftment, particularly in rural and peri-urban areas. Over the years, the Foundation has constructed and donated more than 1 000 homes to vulnerable families, including elderly citizens, people living with disabilities, and child-headed households.

It has also drilled hundreds of boreholes to bring clean water to villages across Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and the Eastern Cape.

In addition, the Foundation has provided millions of food parcels during droughts, floods, and the COVID-19 pandemic, and has funded school uniforms, tuition support, and digital learning facilities for learners in disadvantaged communities.
