BEN Wilmot admits Stoke City cannot afford to be as “soft” as they were at Sheffield United when they look to bounce back at Ipswich Town tomorrow night.
RECOVERY MISSION: Ben Wilmot says Stoke City must quickly get Saturday's result out of their system.
The Potters were thumped 4-0 at Bramall Lane at the weekend, trailing 3-0 at the break in a game in which the centre-half claimed Mark Robins' men allowed the Blades to “bully” them, particularly from set-pieces.
Stoke now face a difficult trip to Portman Road against an improving Town side buoyed by Saturday's 3-0 victory over league leaders Coventry City.
Giving his reaction to Stoke's latest defeat - the club’s fourth in their last five games - defender Wilmot told BBC Stoke:
