WEST HAM STALWART BECOMES 4TH SIGNING OF SUMMER
The Sentinel
|July 11, 2025
STOKE City have signed West Ham United stalwart Aaron Cresswell on a one-year contract.
The left-back and set-piece specialist becomes Stoke's fourth signing of the summer following an 11-year spell in East London, when he made 312 Premier League appearances, with 69 assists and 24 goals.
Stoke have had to fight off serious interest from Norwich City to get the deal over the line and he will fly straight out with the squad for a preseason training camp in Spain today.
Sporting director Jon Walters said: "Aaron's career speaks for itself, both in terms of his quality as a player and his character.
"Everyone we have spoken to has had nothing but praise for him, not just for his ability but for his professionalism and the way he carries himself.
