NEEDY families are set to get a helping hand as a foodbank reopens in part of Stoke-on-Trent.

HERE TO HELP: Volunteers and staff from Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank and Coalfields Regeneration Trust at the reopening of the Meir branch.
Teams are back in Meir - handing out vital supplies from Broadway Methodist Church - following a gap of several years. Now it is offering various additional support services, including help with finances and employment.
