Sporting director thrilled to start Potters' summer work with signing of Wales wideman
JON Walters believes Sorba Thomas can get even better following his transfer to Stoke City.
The winger has signed a three-year contract to become not just the first signing of the transfer window but the first permanent deal of the Mark Robins era.
He has joined from Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee - as revealed by The Sentinel on Saturday - and brings with him both extensive Championship and international experience, indeed the 26-year-old is currently away with Craig Bellamy's Wales squad.
He played 64 minutes of Friday night's 3-0 win over Lichtenstein and provided an assist for the first goal of Joe Rodon's international career.
After four years with the Terriers and loans to Blackburn and Nantes, he is known for his set-piece expertise and the quality of his delivery in open play.
