When was the last time you enjoyed a Vale performance this much?

I'm guessing we might have to go back to the second half against Blackpool on New Year's Day.

That was against ten men, but Vale took it to Luton's eleven with a performance full of enterprise and endeavour.

Oh, and also resilience as Vale came from behind to get a point, just as they did against Reading last week.

In fact, it's not been a bad week for the Vale when we also include Tuesday's win at Northampton.

Home draws probably still aren't enough because the Vale are so far adrift of safety, but they look competitive in every game under Brady.
