RUARI Paton loves the FA Cup for its 'chaos' and leagues going 'out of the window'.
Port Vale welcome Bristol Rovers today and will be hoping to avoid an upset and book a place in the next round against one of the big boys, having hosted Arsenal in the Carabao Cup already this season.
The competition is perhaps not as well regarded as it used to be by some with TV schedules and lots of changes to usual starting lineups but Paton said: "I've grown up watching the FA Cup so, for me, it's cool. You're playing in the FA Cup. You don't have to play in the World Cup final to say you've made it. You're still playing a competition that matters to someone. People want to go far in it.
