Uni 'leads way' with support for domestic abuse victims

National charity praises liaison team

SUPPORT provided to student victims of domestic abuse has been praised by bosses at a national charity.

The Domestic Abuse Liaison Officers team at Keele University is made up of people from a variety of roles at Keele.

They were brought together to 'provide better and more effective support 'for students who are affected by domestic abuse.

The DALO team at Keele are believed to be one of the first and only dedicated domestic abuse support teams at a UK university.
