County council launches a new campaign after seeing rise in mental health challenges in Staffordshire

STAFFORDSHIRE County Council has launched a new campaign in response to rising mental wellbeing needs.
The '5 Ways to Wellbeing' campaign aims to help residents improve their mental and emotional wellbeing by focusing on various actions based on five proven ways to boost wellbeing - connect, be active, give, take notice, and keep learning.
In 2023-24, Staffordshire recorded 137 emergency hospital admissions per 100,000 people for intentional self-harm, above the national average of 117.
