Customers going cuckoo for new landlady Audrey's menu
LANDLADY Audrey Young has launched a Thai menu at her Stoke-on-Trent pub.
The 50-year-old took over at The Cuckoo, in Newstead, in July and has already made big changes at the Barlaston Road venue.
Now she has introduced a Thai menu after linking up with Aroy Taste of Thailand.
Audrey, who has previously run The Vine in Burslem, said: "I have relocated back to Stoke-on-Trent from Prestatyn after spending a year there. I wanted to be with my daughter and little grandson.
"I came here in July. It was poor to begin with but is picking up, definitely. We have done a few charity events already raising money for the Dougie Mac.
"We have darts teams, pool teams and show live football and sports on Sky and TNT. We also hope to start poker nights.
