Tracey, 56, fundraising for Dougie Mac in memory of her late dad and sister-in-law

- Gary Porter

'The care was amazing until the very end!'

A DOUGIE Mac supporter will be helping to 'turn Stoke-on-Trent pink' in memory of her late dad and sister-in-law.

Tracey Harrison, from Newcastle, will join hundreds of other participants taking on the 10-mile Moonlight Walk in aid of the hospice on Friday, June 20.

She will be walking in memory of her dad Graham Parker, who was cared for by Dougie Mac before his death in November 2021 - just 10 days after being diagnosed with cancer.

Tracey will also be remembering her sister-in-law Val Parker, who died in May last year.

She will be with the Stoke-on-Trent walking group called the Walkie Talkies for the event and donning a pink T-shirt, tutu and wig.
