STRIKER LOWE HAS POTTERS GOAL ON HIS MIND
The Sentinel
|November 20, 2025
NATHAN Lowe is concentrating on working his way up the League One top scorers' chart with a hope that will propel him towards an ultimate starting place at Stoke City.
The 20-year-old striker is spending the season with Stockport County but has had to work his way into their forward line, playing just off the striker as he has come into the team in the last few weeks.
He has still managed to score seven times and they head to Peterborough for a match in front of the TV cameras tonight sitting on top of the table - and he knows that his progress is being watched by his parent club.
"I've been in (to Stoke) and had reviews so I feel very looked after," he said. "You feel like you're not out of sight, out of mind.
"I'm following Stoke's season with great interest because it affects my livelihood. I'm not from Stoke, but when you've been there since you were 10, you grow a fondness for the club. I'm very happy to see them performing the best I've seen in the time I can remember.
