Hospice and family campaigners both net $450 from events
TWO North Staffordshire charities have benefited from money raised during this year's exciting Sentinel Golf competitions.
Representatives from the Honeycomb Group and the Dougie Mac were at Newcastle Golf Club to receive £450 each. The money was raised by increasing numbers of golfers entering both the Sentinel Cup and Sentinel Shield in 2025.
And the two charities were invited along to the presentation as thoughts now turn to next year, which will be the 50th anniversary of what is one of the longest running golf competitions in the country.
Representing Stoke-on-Trent based Honeycomb Group at the event were Zoe Mcgibbon and Sarah Buckley.
The Honeycomb Group is part of Glow, a charitable service on a mission to end relationship abuse.
The organisation campaigns for change and provides life-changing support to women, men, young people and families across the region.
