Rotarians chip in for bed charity

12 teams teeing off for golf fundraiser
ROTARY club members are hosting a fundraising golf day today to support local children who do not have a bed of their own.
Twelve teams are set to take part in the event which has been organised by Newcastle-under-Lyme Rotary Club.
Fifty per cent of the funds raised will go towards supporting the 'Beds for Kids' campaign, which is run by Emmaus North Staffs - who help to end furniture poverty.
Beds for Kids launched in 2022, and so far more than 400 brand new kits - made up of a brand new bed, mattress and bedding-have been delivered to families across Stoke-on-Trent.
